An FPC attack in the first half
Parca started brightly and took the lead early on. A rebound was controlled at the edge of the box and hit high into the net on the half volley. They doubled their lead when someone broke down the right hand side and chipped a delightful shot in off the underside of the bar.

FPC managed to fight their way back into things but missed various chances. The pressure was beginning to mount on the Parca defence but the half time score was 0-2.

The pattern of the game continued in the second half but FPC still couldn’t find the back of the net. When Parca scored a third against the run of play, the game looked over.

However, FPC kept plugging away and managed to pull one back after Mark poked home following flicks from Del and Jammy. When David Hendry’s shot was deflected in (it was probably a goal regardless) it was 2-3 and the comeback was on.

Moments later Moysie levelled and the match could have gone either way. Parca stepped up a gear and the FPC defensive was forced into action again. The winner came at the right end though when Fraz hammered home Moysie’s lay off. Given some of the ‘easier’ chances Frazzle had missed, it was remarkable finish.

Parca hit back and it took a great save from Del the Goalie to keep FPC’s lead intact. The clock ticked down and FPC celebrated their first win in quite a while.

How will they fair against Jack Daniel’s team tomorrow?
