FPC started nervously as THW passed the ball well and they created a couple of chances. FPC were in shock that there was such a drastic improvement by THW and before we new it, we were 1-0 down. FPC lost the ball in midfield, and as the midfield and defence failed to put in a challenge, THW took full advantage and their midfielder had an excellent shot from outside the area which left Farmer standing still as he watched it go into the back of the net.

Man of the match
The heads were down and FPC could not believe we had conceded a goal. Time for a change and FPC started to play football and created a few chances. The passing game was coming along nicely and we knew we were back in with a shout. That was until influential playmaker Fraz went for a header, and instead of the ball Fraz was "headered"! Within 10 minutes of that incident, the same player who injured Fraz (he shall remain nameless, then took out Moyesie with a late tackle(he must know who the players are!!). Moyesie and the THW player both went off, but as Moyesie lay at the side of the park, THW player went off to hospital with a sore jaw and a bloody nose.

Two substitutions and not even 30 mins gone!! But the new FPC, with their renewed fighting spirit never gave in. Barclay Snr chased a loose ball and in a sliding tackle motion, he put the ball and the goalie in the back of the net. 1 - 1. A few minutes later FPC were on the attack again, the pressure duly paid off when a corner swung in by Dave flew in to the back of the net via a deflection from one of THW players. 2-1. FPC made another change before half time when Mitch came off for Moyesie.

THW had a few more attacking chances but Moonie, PJM and Topper did well to keep them out. Within minutes of restart, FPC had a chance to make it 3-1. Moyeise chased a short pass back, touched it past the goalie and YES! the goalie kicked him. As the goalie aplogised for his assault, the ref pointed to the spot.

Penalty king Dave Hendry slotted it home to make it 3-1. FPC's performance then started to fluctuate. Some football was excellent, and some was poor. At this point the game turned into a midfield battle, with both teams trying to get their foot on the ball. Several chances for both teams went by with nothing to show for it. The next goal would decide the game, either THW are back in it or FPC would claim another victory. A penalty box scramble in THW box ended up with Moyesie swinging his right boot at the ball, slight deflection took the ball over the goalies head into the net, 4-1 and the game was near enough won.

THW never gave in and kept trying for a second goal. FPC went on the counter attack, Moyesie had the ball on the left, and saw Mitch in the middle. Moyesie's cross-come-shot ended up in the top corner. Fluke......who cares, FPC now 5-1 up new they had it sealed. Again the THW never gave up hope and when they went on another attack, vice captain Moonie needlessly brought down the striker for the second penalty of the game. Dispatched. Jammy came on for Mitch who added that little bit to the game with his pace. He went on several mazy runs, if he had a left foot he would have scored. The last of his runs ended up in him being brought down in the area for the third penalty!! Dave stepped up and touched it to Moyesie was slammed it home for his hat trick. 6-2 and that was game, set and match. The final whistle went shortly after and the game was played in a friendly spirit.

Piggy was interviewed after the match saying "FPC Got of to the best start of the season possible long may it continue....when do I get my manager of the month award ? "

FPC can play better, but they did enough to keep their winning run going. MOM Moyesie, but a special mention to Evenflow, who donated his referee’s fee to WWS/Well Trust
