Unbelievable – Impossible to believe ( or a terrific last minute extra time winner from an 18 year old substitute )

 

Incredible – That cannot be believed, hard to believe; amazing( or conceding two late goals in a match, but still winning the game to get to your first League Cup final in 50 years)

 


Amazing
– surprise greatly; overwhelm with wonder ( or the sight of thousands of ‘Well fans packed together in a tight unit behind the goals)

 

Magic – an inexplicable or remarkable influence producing surprise results ( or the performance of a young Australian footballer, who goes by the nickname of a famous Kangeroo )

 

Exhausting – a total loss of strength or vitality( or watching Motherwell Football Club attempting to get into a Final )

 


Draining
– Exhaust or deprive (a person or thing) of strength( or the celebrations when Mark Fitzpatrick scored the winning goal, Yyeeesssssss!! )

 

Fairy tale – An incredible story( or when a provincial football club not long out of administration gets into a Cup Final )

 

Stress – a demand on physical or mental stress( or having to endure 30 minutes of extra time in a football match supporting you team )

 

Immense – immeasurably large or great( or the performance from the team Captain, Leitchy we salute you !! )

 


Vintage
– of high quality, esp. from the past or characteristic of the best period of a person’s work( or Gordon Marshall, nuff said ! )

 

Chant – a spoken sing song phrase, esp. one performed in unison by a crowd( or From the slopes of Fir Park terracing, to playing fields so green, there’s 11 stalwart warriors, the best you’ve ever seen, for we may not be the Champions or even runners up, but we’re going to fcuk the Rangers out of this years C.I.S. Cup!)
