WORLD NET 1998 - INTERMOTHERWELL
InterMotherwell will travel South to Reading to play in WorldNet 1998 between July 17 and 19, and need your help!! IF any Motherwell fans with a bit of the old dosh to throw around wants to help us out with our travelling and accommodation costs, please get in touch!!
Motherwell, 17 July, 1998: 18 hardy Motherwell supporters will have the honour of representing Motherwell Football Club in the third International Competition for Internet Supporters’ teams, taking their place in a 40-strong pool of teams determined to show the World Motherwell fans can do the biz.
Recent results indicate the team is fast becoming one to be feared!!
Or did I mean to say one to be challenged - if you want an easy win!!
Our Record So far:
Hardly been classic, of the six matches we have played so far we have won, erm, well just the one but at least we have scored in all bar one of those games. Our illustrious record is 1 win, and um 5 narrow, unlucky, biased-refereeing defeats.

We are still on the look out for three more squad members, three genital..em generals that are so cocksure they explode at the mere sight of action. WE need a Goalie, so Stevie, if you are not busy this Summer mate……. And, Buff, we need two Centre-Halves - so bring a mate!!!!!!!!
What is InterMotherwell? InterMotherwell FC is a team made up of Motherwell fans who belong to the Unofficial Motherwell FC Site on the Internet. The team will be travelling to Reading in July of this year to take part in WolrdNet 98, the third tournament for Internet Football Teams. InterMotherwell have been together for 9 months, playing merely for the love of the jersey, and during this time have played in Stramash 97 at Livingston where the team were knocked out rather controversially in the Quarter-Finals, as well as numerous friendlies.
Although we rarely win (okay, one win in 7 games aint all that good I know) we are slowly improving!! WE are on the look-out, scrounge, call it what you will for a set of strips so if anyone would like to sponsor us (and even help with our transportation costs to Reading) then please get in touch. There are only three Scottish teams travelling South, ourselves and the Old Firm, in a total entry of 40 teams including Sao Paolo from Brazil and Kaiserslautern from Germany.
