A busy month ahead

Assuming the emergency repairs on the pitch are completed as planned and in the belief that the rains hold off to allow the pitch to be playable, it seems that the following dates can be written on to the kitchen calendar or office wall planner.

Kilmarnock
(h) Saturday 9 February

Dundee (h) Monday 11 February

Gretna(a!) Saturday 16 February

Inverness (h) Wednesday 20 February
Hearts (h) Saturday 23 February

Aberdeen (a) Wednesday 27 February

Falkirk (a) Saturday 1 March

Queen of the South (a) 8 March (if we beat Dundee)
Hibs (a) Wednesday 12 March

Celtic (h) 15 March (1230 kick off - $etanta)

There is only one midweek slot unallocated before mid March and we have to find a date for the outstanding SPL game against Rangers (h) following postponement of the game scheduled for 15 March as they are in CIS final before the split in early April.

We are not alone in having to play so many games in the next couple of months so there's no point in having a moan. We can only hope that the grand works planned both for the short and long terms result in a pitch which is capable of allowing us to determine when games will be played rather than the weather.
