A midweek visit from Inverness ahead

Speaking after his team’s late equaliser against Kilmarnock on Saturday Foran said, "Maybe mentally we weren't right - and we did look a wee bit tired in the first half. There is definitely a temptation to freshen it for the midweek game at Motherwell."

Any change in personnel from ICT is unlikely to change their habit of playing with a single striker at the start.  We can expect Doumbouya or maybe Fisher to take that role.  Doran has been building up game minutes since his return from long term injury and it might be that his first start of the season comes on Wednesday.

'Well won the last meeting with Inverness

Hammell missed the last outing after a hamstring tweak but he may back in contention.  The manager took the chance of fielding several of the U20 regulars against Celtic with McMillan and MacLean starting the game.  They were replaced by Ferguson and Hastie and all four stood up to the challenge.  Our starting eleven had been unchanged for the three previous fixtures and it would not be a surprise to see that side line up against Inverness.

The Fir Park faithful have seen their favourites win only once in four attempts in this season’s league campaign but there is every prospect of a happy midweek triumph ahead – 2-0.
