Arrangements for CIS Quarter Final Released

The official statement says that prices have been "reduced" to £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 for juveniles. Presumably the same prices will apply for all seats in the ground and for away fans. Tickets go on sale on Monday 15 October.

Given that the prices at the last CIS tie to be played at Fir Park (against Raith Rovers) were £15/10/10 and also that tickets for the last SPL game against Rangers were £18 in the East stand - it's difficult to see this as a reduction!

Still, the DC will be returned to claret and amber fans and this has to be welcomed. But it seems likely that a less than impressive turnout from home fans will allow the financial argument to hold sway and the experiment could be ended.

Arrangements are in place for postal and telephone applications for tickets.

The game takes place on Wednesday 31 October at 7.45pm and the prize awaiting the winners will be a semi final clash against one of Aberdeen or Inverness, Dundee United or Hamilton Accies or Celtic or Hearts.
