Busy Schedule Ahead

The Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday pattern will leave little time for rest and recovery and that could put a strain on our small squad of first team regulars. On the other hand we have survived seventeen games already this season without having an injury crisis; it's amazing how players rarely pick up knocks when they are playing for a winning team.

Falkirk
(h), Rangers (a), United (h) and Hibs (a) should provide an interesting test for our high flyers. Can we hold (or improve) our league position after these games?

A year ago we took seven points from our festive fixtures with Kilmarnock, Dunfermline, Rangers and Celtic. A similar haul would probably keep us happy as we move into the final third before the split.

The cliché suggests that the players will be taking one game at a time and it is probably the correct strategy. Falkirk are first on the list and it is to be hoped that the lure of last minute shopping does not lower the crowd. The team have been delivering some superb football and they deserve a big turnout.

Come on ye 'Well.
