Gate prices are now £12 for adults and £5 for concessions. They are also running a 'Kids for a Quid' scheme but these tickets are available only from the Fir Park ticket office and have to be purchased in advance. A 'Kid' is defined as someone who is 16 years of age or younger.

In addition, the passport scheme will be in operation for season ticket holders under the age of twelve.

The game will be on Setanta with a 7.45pm kick off and the revival in Dunfermline's fortunes of late should encourage a decent home support attend. Whether Motherwell's poor form will tempt many to travel east remains to be seen.

The Central Branch bus to Dunfermline leaves at 6pm from the Bentley Hotel in Motherwell - contact Jim Frame on 01698 350701 email christopher_hutton@btinternet.com to book your seat.

There were a few eyebrows raised when the TV company decided some weeks ago that this match would be broadcast. At that time it seemed certain that the relegation issue would be resolved ahead of this fixture but the inability of St Mirren to take something from their last game has kept a glimmer of hope alive in Fife.

It's never pleasant to see a team being relegated but if Motherwell are up for the task we could see the coup de grace being delivered on Monday.
