C:WindowsTempphpE23.tmpAfter playing with both Bristol clubs Clarky joined Dundee last season and  scored against us within two minutes when the sides met in October.  He then becam a free agent and became our third close season signing joining Joe Chalmers and Lionel Ainsworth.

It will be a familiar sight to many ‘Well fans to see Clarkson line up beside three of his former colleagues; Lasley, Hammell and Pearson.  Déjá vu..  All have come back to Fir Park after spells in England.

He has agreed a one year deal with an option for a further year.

Terry Butcher gave young Clarkson his debut against Partick Thistle in January 2003 (McFadden was the provider).  He made a further 22 appearances that season and became an established member of the team.  He hit the net almost 100 times before he left at the end of 2008/9  In that season he carried the number 10 jersey that has been carried so well by his (and our) Uncle Phil.  This season his squad number will be 19.

Welcome back!
