Dundee: 24h On

It is difficult to know why we have so many problems when faced with lower league opposition. Even in our cup winning season we were forced to a penalty shoot out against Morton. The list of those who count us among their trophies grows by the year. Changes of players or managers seem to have no effect.

Everyone involved with the team has acknowledged that we were not good enough and that Dundee deserved their win. The disappointment, particularly following the huge effort needed to overcome Hearts in the previous round, is felt be all.

But little will be gained by wailing and moaning. We have an SPL game at Fir Park on Saturday and an opportunity to get back to winning ways. There were no reported injuries after Monday's game and the team will be happy to welcome Quinn back to the team. If Porter is able to return to the fray we will be back to full strength and eager to add three points to our total.

The manager has already shown that he is more than capable of lifting the spirits and inspiring the players to great things. Let's hope he can work his wonders again at the weekend!
