Falkirk- 24h On

What's your name Mr Foran?
Falkirk had plenty at stake knowing that a win would almost certainly keep them in the SPL for another season. Our lads had pride, bonus money and contracts to play for but it seemed not to be enough. Maybe the poor display in the first half came as a result of a lack of pressure, if so there could be a problem in the remaining three fixtures.

Our points tally against the teams in the bottom six makes good reading.

Livi 9 from possible 9
Dunfermline 7 from possible 9

Falkirk 10 from possible 12

Dundee Utd 4 from possible 9

Inverness 6 from possible 12

That represents 36 of our 45 points to date.

For many years there was a belief that points gained against our fellow relegation candidates were the more important that any taken from those more interested in the championship. In that regard we have had a very good season. Our record against those currently in the top half of the table bears little examination.

Where do we go from here?
