After a mixed start to the season, an impressive run of form since the turn of the year has led them to the showpiece match against Troon Accies who are also appearing in their first final.

The match has been an eagerly anticipated affair since Ross Pate drilled home a late winner in the semi final victory over Beechwood Albion at Ravenscraig back in March and the Motherwell side are desperate to get their hands on their first silverware in four years.

On this occasion they are competing for the Scottish IFA (Internet Football Association) Cup.  In May 2012 they won the Scotnet tournament with a 3-0 win over Clyde.

The season's league campaign ended on a high with two resounding wins over Perth Saint Johnstone and Bully Wee United and the 'Corner boys will be looking to keep the run going for one more match.

Entry to the match costs a mere £2 on the day and as many spectators as possible are encouraged to turn up and roar the local lads on to victory.
