Fraser Wishart Q&A

Last updated : 24 March 2004 By Firparkcorner

Fraser has been much in the news recently defending the interests of those players who had their contracts terminated when the club went into interim administration two years ago. He is keen to have an opportunity to debate with fans the position of footballers who find themselves in this awkward position. With more clubs now in administration it would seem it be a growing problem.

It will be interesting to hear the SPFA side of the argument without the usual tabloid spin which has been the norm over the last few months. Fraser is well aware that he will have an uphill battle in trying to convince fans of the merits if his case but all credit to him for facing the fans questions.

Many ‘Well supporters will remember his spell in claret and amber in the eighties before he was drawn to the bright lights of
Paisley. He returned to Fir Park for season 96/97 when McLeish was in charge. No doubt he would welcome questions related to either spell at Fir Park.

A dedicated messageboard has been set up to take questions. The board is open now. Please check that your question has not been posted previously. Fraser will start the answering session at 8
pm on Tuesday 30 March.
