An overnight deluge in Falkirk had left pools of surface water on the pitch at the Grangemouth Stadium and although efforts were made to make it playable the 3pm inspection delivered the bad news.
The prospect of facing European opposition was welcomed by Stuart McCall who saw it as providing a worthwhile learning experience ahead of our upcoming Champions League tie. The players will be frustrated that their fitness programme has been interrupted.
