Hibs- 24h On

The manager's change of formation seemed to confuse the visitors for the early part of the game at least. Our control of the first quarter of the game was total and it is fair to say that Hibs never recovered. After the match Mowbray said, “They changed their shape and played with one up front, which they never do, they matched us up in the middle and made it a battle and a scrap.”

Kerr's shot falls to Craigan - who scores!

The tactics produced the desired confusion in the opposition ranks and we were deservedly one up at the break. Our season long failing then came to the fore. We lost a couple of slack goals and needed a last gasp equaliser from Craigan to keep the top-six campaign alive.

The last three games before the split are well worthy of consideration.

Let's assume that Inverness lose at Parkhead on Wednesday.

Motherwell face Aberdeen (a), Livingston (h) and Rangers (a).

Aberdeen have Motherwell (h), Inverness (a) and Hibs (h)

Inverness have Hibs (a), Aberdeen (h) and Livingston (a)

It looks like we have to win the next two and have Hibs do us a couple of favours. In that case we make it as long as ICT fail to take three points against Aberdeen. Easy.
