Motherwell's proposed tour of Italy hit a glitch when railway repairs caused the team to miss their connection to Gatwick at St Pancras station. Despite taking a fleet of taxis to the airport the players missed the plane but fortunately the tour organiser managed to find seats on the flight to Genoa the next day.

The book is priced at £9.99 and is sure to be a popular stocking filler as the festive season draws near. The author, Derek Wilson, is known to many Well fans, not least for his contributions to FirParkCorner.
