Motherwell revealed the first four warm up games ahead of the Betfred Cup opener against Rangers on July 16. There is the likelihood of another two games yet to be confirmed.
None of the matches are at Fir Park:
Albion Rovers Saturday 2 July 3pm,
Cowdenbeath Tuesday 5 July 7.30pm,
Dumbarton Saturday 9 July 3pm and
Hibs Sunday 10 July 3pm.
Two further games may be scheduled for Sunday 3 July and Tuesday 12 July.
Although these games are important to prepare the squad for the season ahead their interest for fans will be diminished with the glut of League Cup fixtures in the second half of the month.
No doubt some hardy souls will manage to attend all 10 outings in the holiday month of July!
