Next up - Dundee

Both teams drew in their respective friendlies at the weekend. We had a goal apiece against Millwall while the Dees and Killie shared four goals between them.

The close season optimism continues to shine at Fir Park after the first showing of the new manager's team at home. Compliments have been flying about the style of play adopted by McGhee's men particularly in the first half showing. Fewer long balls and more reliance on the short passing game seems to be the order of the day.

The habit of multiple substitutions in games of this type makes it difficult for the untrained eye to form sound judgements on the progress of the team but the strategy of giving all of the squad a taste of some action does have some merit.

Mensing and Porter were introduced in the second period in the last outing - will the pack be shuffled for Tuesday's outing?

Dundee
have yet to lose any of their warm up games (four wins and a draw so far) so they should have some confidence for our visit. Alex Rae has been pleased with his team's showings to date and the draw against Kilmarnock showed some guts as they had to come from behind twice.

Entry for the game is set at £10 for adults and the concessions gate will cost £5.
