Next up - Dundee again

Motherwell return to Dundee on Saturday a fortnight after a cup win.  This time league points are the prize.  Can we do the Dens double?

The teams had differing fortunes last weekend.  Motherwell were not at their best and suffered a home loss to Kilmarnock while Dundee enjoyed a win at Firhill thanks to a late double by Simon Murray.  He was cup-tied and unavailable for the meeting earlier in the month.

Simon Caulker will be another new face in the home team's line up.  The ex-QPR defender will likely partner Josh Meekings in the centre of the back four but we will be familiar with the rest of the opposition.

Our hosts have of late had far more success away from home.  Their last four wins have been on the road and they have to look back to mid-December when Partick Thistle were beaten at Dens.  Moussa got a double that day and he may lead their line on Saturday.

Both teams are free of suspension and Motherwell will welcome the return of Cederic Kipré.  The defender had been an ever present until his yellow card tally forced last week's omission.  His pairing with Aldred is a steady base at the back and a threat in the opposition box.

Bowman, Newell and Petravicius played in Wednesday's U20 game against Ross County and they will probably be on the bench as Ciftci and Main take centre stage.  Tanner, with a fresh memory of a goal against Parish, looks increasingly comfortable with every  game.  A good performance from him could tilt the game in our favour.

At kick-off four points will separate the teams and the difference by the final whistle will be 1,4 or 7.  Let's travel with hope and look for a 2-1 win.
