No Show From McGhee

A'hm no coming!
The Trust had arranged for the new manager to meet supporters in the Cooper Suite at Fir Park and his appearance was keenly anticipated by the fans. McGhee's transformation of the team and the excellent set of results which followed his arrival was a great attraction for Trust members and around seventy ignored the rain and the diversion of Champion's League football on the box to hear the expected words of wisdom from the new boss.

McGhee had attended the reserve game against Hearts (1-1) in the afternoon and then returned to the ground  but when early arrivals turned up to prepare for the meeting it was discovered that he would not be attending.

Around seventy fans then completed the business of the AGM. Martin Rose gave his chairman's report on the activities of the year and Alistair Stewart spoke to the financial statement.

The evening was clouded by the non-appearance of the manager and it is likely that a few pointed telephone calls will be made on Wednesday morning as the Trust attempts to find out what went wrong.
