Plenty entertainment for 'Well fans

The Supporters Association hosts its annual Player of the Year dance this weekend in the Centenary Suite at Fir Park. Tickets cost only £12 and are available from branch the delegate Bran Worton (Bellshill), Jim Frame (Central), Brian Crawford (East Kilbride), Barry Hayton/Scott Hughes (east of Scotland), David Langford (Wee Alpha) and Ann Sim (Wishaw).

Thursday 10 April

The Civic Centre Concert Hall is expected to be full when Tam Cowan and a long list of well known Motherwell faces lay on An Night for Phil O'Donnell. The evening is being organised by 'Well fans to help fund a permanent memorial to Phil. Doors are open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Sunday 11 May

The club are organising a Official Player of the Season & Sponsor's Evening at the Shawlands Hotel, near Larkhall, in early May. Tam Cowan will front the show and former whistler, Willie Young, will appear as a guest speaker.

The £30 entrance will provide access to a buffet and video highlights of the season, as well as a raffle and auction. Tickets are available by calling the club on 01698 338062 or from 9.30am on Tuesday 1st April at the Motherwell FC Ticket Office
