Preview : Falkirk (h)

With Hibs travelling to Celtic, and hopefully, losing, we could go level with them in the crucial sixth spot. It is unlikely we could over-take them - they are six goals better off than us - but even catching up would be a big psychological boost before we travel to Easter Road at the end of the month.

Falkirk will be without Cregg who lost the appeal against his Ibrox red card but Pressley might strengthen their defence. O'Brien is struggling with an injury in midfield but it is probably Lovell and Higdon - who have caused us problems in the past - we have to worry about most.

We will have Lasley available again after suspension but it is surely unthinkable that we would make changes from last week. Fitzpatrick and O'Brien, the only two possibilities to be dropped, both played well last time and should keep their places.

Falkirk's last visit to Fir Park ended in an exciting 3-2 win for us but they did beat us at Brockville the last time the teams met. However, they haven't managed a win since then and that poor run of form has seen them drop to 11th, just one point above Inverness. They were a little unlucky to lose to Rangers and will give everything here - this will not be an easy game.

But, unlike them, we should be high on confidence. We will have to work hard but we should have a bit more quality at present and a 2-0 win should not be beyond us.

Remember the last time Falkirk were at Fir Park?
