Saunders included in latest U21 squad

Steven has become a fixture in the Motherwell defence in the last year and his contribution has been noted by the national U21 coach.   He has made one appearance for Stark’s side already when he came on as a second half substitute in a friendly against young Sweden.

The failure of the U21s to win the playoff against Iceland means that we will not be attending the UEFA championships next summer and Stark has taken the opportunity to freshen the squad before our next competitive outings.  That’s almost certainly why Jamie Murphy is not listed.  He celebrated his 21st birthday last August.

The game at Firhill on Wednesday 17 November has a 7.30pm kick off and the pay at the gate prices are £5 for adults with concessions gaining entry for £2.
