After a long wait, the club are now confirming details about season ticket prices for next season. The Fir Park office reports that letters should be sent out to existing season ticket holders by the end of the week.

In an interesting move by the club, prices for the East Stand will have a small increase (by £20 to £180 for an adult) but those in Davie Cooper Stand will have no change (£210 for an adult). It is expected that there will be a small rise in Main Stand prices. With everyone in a generous mood regarding the club, it’s slightly surprising that the increases are not greater or even across the board.

Fans are encouraged to show their appreciation by signing up for the SuperWell Seven weekly draw. It is expected that an application form for the fundraiser will be included in the mailshot.

The club will continue to run various initiatives aimed at the youth market with season tickets being made available to children through schools for only £30. For every six kids tickets taken, an adult can buy a ticket for £100.

Given the club’s position, it is vital that people buy season tickets. Increased sales will provide clear evidence that the Mighty ‘Well has a healthy fan base. Once again, the prices will probably be the best value in the SPL so there is no excuse not to dip into your wallet and support the team.

The strain on the wallet won’t be too bad over the close season since the new strips are still having the ‘finishing touches’ added. It is unlikely that they will be available for several weeks yet.
