Those who are able to take advantage of the cut which is available until the end of May will, for the first time in years (ever?), pay less for a forthcoming season ticket. If the Cooper Stand is used as an example then a saving of £29 can be had over last year's full price and a saving of £19 will be made over last season's earlybird price. This represents a real cut in prices and the club has to be congratulated for making a step in the right direction.
The is almost universal agreement that the cost of watching SPL games is too expensive and that normal gate prices act do little to improve attendance. Let's hope that this step if followed by others and that a trend is set when calculations are made for 2010/11.
Deferred payment facilities are being offered and online payment is also available.
