Supporter's Trust Newsletter

Last updated : 12 August 2002 By Firparkcorner

The Trust, formed to heighten the influence that fans can have at the highest level in the club, needs to increase its membership before it can hold the first Annual General meeting. At that time the steering group will hand over the running of the Trust to a board elected by the members in a one member – one vote election.

Have you bought the T-Shirt?
The newsletter outlined some of the recent fund raising events held under the ‘Well Worth Saving banner and outlined some of the first spending plans which were agreed by fans at the open meeting in June.

A set of strips will be bought for one of the youth sides and a pair of hydraulic tables have been bought for the use of club physiotherapist, John Porteous.

Fans are encouraged to complete the form and to return them to the Trust’s registered office c/o Douglas Barr and Co. Solicitors, 43 Kirk Road, Wishaw ML2 7BL. Cheques should be made out to Motherwell Supporter’s Trust, to the value of tend pounds for a year’s membership.

Copies of the newsletter and membership forms should be available at the Club Shop, the Chapman Building and at local libraries. Forms are also available for downloading in both Word and PDF format.

Join with other ‘Well fans and join the Trust. Now, more than ever, it is important that the voice of the supporter is heard inside Fir Park.
