Terry Flies South

Tribal Football reports that he is off to Oz for around five days.

This trip may lead to Motherwell securing the services of the best young talent in and around the Perth area. Stewart Robertson talked enthusiastically about the potential benefits which might be delivered if the plan succeeds when he met with members of the Supporters' Trust at the end of May.

Scott McDonald's contacts seem to have been central to the development of the scheme. He has an agent in the UK (Dave McPherson) as well as a representative in Australia and they appear to be preparing the way for the link up. McPherson is accompanying our manager on the trip.

Terry will miss a few of the pre-season warm up games but the potential of finding another few young players with the potential demonstrated by McDonald makes this venture a top priority for the club.
