Trust AGM announced

Supporters Trusts form a vital role in representing the views of fans to their football clubs and the Motherwell Trust has played its part over the last year.  In addition to their communications with the club’s officers they have organised a number of events designed to appeal to a cross section of the community – a Meet the Fans evening which included Craig Brown and Jim Gannon, a poker tournament, a world cup Stars and Stripes night and a successful  Sixes competition.

MST1These events and the Trust’s other activities require a commitment of time and effort from board members and they need help to continue the work.  The club has benefited by donations of many thousands of pounds over the years, the last substantial contribution was to the development of improved facilities for our disabled supporters.  If that work is to continue then fans need to step forward.

The Trust needs to increase its membership and to find volunteers who are prepared to join the board.  New members can sign up for a fiver on the night of the AGM.  Anyone interested in joining the board is encouraged to send an email to enquiries@mstonline.net.

Anyone interested in helping with the activities without joining the board would also be welcomed.  Feel free to offer your services at the meeting or by email to the above address.

Members will shortly receive notification of the AGM by email or letter and the relevant paperwork will be available at the meeting and at the MST website.

The meeting begins at 7pm on 1 November in the Cooper Suite at Fir Park.
