United: 24h On

The message from the new manager after this weekend's loss in Dundee is "No change. What we are doing is right for us." He recognises that teams are now aware of our style of play and that they have started to take steps to stop us playing.

Kick off at Tannadice

We should take that view as a compliment. Motherwell have been on the receiving end of many column inches of praise in the last few weeks and it can not be a surprise that our opponents have been reading the favourable comments and planning counter measures.

At times against Dundee United we seemed to revert to the sad style while typified last season's drudgery. Too many aimless punts upfield were offered to the two tangerine central defenders. We will not make any headway with those tactics.

McGhee is right. We must have faith in the style which thrilled us in several games this season and we can do our job by backing the team at every opportunity.
