The last cup game in Paisley was a disappointing defeat in the Scottish Cup in February. We got our revenge in May when one from Murphy and a Clarkson double took us to a 3-1 win and three points. A win at the end of October will send us to Hampden.
As Motherwell play St Mirren on Saturday 24 October in the SPL there may well be some extra spice in the cup tie. Inevitably a few niggles are carried over when two teams play with a very short interval.
