Phil O'Donnell - An Evening with Tam Cowan - DVD on sale

Last updated : 13 December 2008 By Firparkcorner

As the first anniversary of Phil's passing approaches funds are still being raised for a permanent memorial to mark his place in the club's history. Sales of this DVD will boost the pot.

The recording of 'An Evening with Tam Cowan' gives an opportunity for those who missed the show in April to join with the thousand who packed the Concert Hall for an entertaining series of reminiscences from fans and 'Well legends. Those who were fortunate enough to gain entry on the night will be keen to have a record of a fine evening.

In addition to familiar names such as Wark, Pettigrew, Kirk and Craigan were many more who figure in Motherwell's past. Mark McGhee and George Burley also played their part but most of the night was carried by Tam who kept the audience in stitches for much of the night.

The language and, at times the jokes, might best be described as 'adult' and some discretion is advised but the content is guaranteed to entertain.

The DVD is available in the club shop but on Monday 15 December, before the kick off against Kilmarnock, it will be available from the Cooper and Centenary Suites (and possibly from outlets inside the East and Phil O'Donnell stands).

At a cost of £10 it represents a meaningful donation to the fans' memorial to Phil and should provide a plenty of laughter over the festive season.

Enjoy!
