Motherwell at home to Elgin City or Queen's Park

Last updated : 22 November 2011 By Firparkcorner

The 4th round tie is scheduled for Saturday 7 January 2012 and we'll have to wait until Saturday to learn which team wins the replay at Hampden.

After eleven years on the road we are the recipents of a home draw.  No doubt the away day junket will take place in the next round (assuming no banana skins!).

There have been no competitive meetings between Motherwell and Elgin City - they graduated from the Highland League to the SFL in 2000.  Queen's Park are old sparring partners and the teams have had several clases in up competitions in the last fifty years.  The last Scottish Cup meeting was in1984 when and Andy Harrow hat trick saw us progress at Fir Park.

The full draw is

Ross County v Stenhousemuir

Livingston v Ayr/Montrose

Raith v Morton

Hearts v Auchinleck Talbot

Cowdenbeath v Hibs

St Johnstone v Brechin City
